Climate

The climate in Costa Rica is tropical, but is has many distinct climate areas.

The year is divided into rainy seasons and dry seasons rather than summer and winter. Rainy season is from May to November and dry season lasts from December to April.
Some locations in Costa Rica get 300 inches of rain per year, but the average in around 100.
