Steps
- As a teacher or administrator, go to the homepage of the course.
- Click on "Settings ..." from the block "Administration" if the course has been created and has no student enrolled or creating a new course.
- Go to drop down "Is this a meta course?" And select Yes
- Since the course set up, click Administration> Students.
- Use the form to add the course or courses at your meta course (tuition will be imported).
Important
If a course is a meta course, the Administration> Students change the listing or looking for students to list or search for courses.
Must not have any student enrolled as a meta course to enable it. If a new student enrolled or unenrolled a student from a course father will automatically be enrolled or unenrolled from the meta course.
Suggestions
Allows creation of a course that is subordinate (inherits those enrolled) in another, for example a teaching unit that requires one elective course but with the same or fewer students. In the case of not requiring all students in the course of metacourse parent can unenrolled. Allows creation of a course that is subordinate to others, eg a common area of different courses that require another course but all students in other courses.
